I guess all the deadlines had dulled my sense of time and events happening around which i have a particular disdain for. Unaware and oblivious, I stumbled into service yesterday just to realize that Dear Lord, its

Its PALM Sunday!!! when our savior entered Jerusalem! Was feeling alittle ashamed as I was so hyped up about it few months ago that I even plan a whole itinerary for service on this day. I still vividly rmb the Palm Sunday service in Swiss, with all the little children holding palm branches and singing songs that goes "Hosanna!" (Roughly Translated: Lord, save us now) Time flies! Nevertheless, this reminded me that the passion week starts today and I should do something about it to prepare myself for Good Fri and Easter.

Visited Joyce in her AJ booth ystd, too bad i din have much time to visit all the stores but it was fun to just walk ard n soak up the atmosphere! =)

I am a very happy guy now! Cause God has been gracious to us and has led people to the midst of our YA group. Its has grown strength to strength now, seeing Sandar and Chee Hoong being comfortable with us, and Daryl has been knitted tgt with us now. But I have to remind myself, not me, but Dad U did a great job! haha.

I got this funny occurence that once in a while when i wake up, lyrics from certain songs will strongly pop into my minds as it was tellin me something. Today, Amazing grace by Chris Tomlin popped up and i was singing that in shower.. haha..

++ YUPPIE's PICNIC ++

Its was supposed to be a YF foto outing and I was invited to give tips on photography.. *ouch, reminded me of my ill-fated meanie machine* Well, to no surprise, no one turned up except a few cats here n there.. (jess yilin josh plin jeremy etc etc, aka jeff et al) hahaha, SO.. mite as well turn it into a picnic! I even bought mags and books to read!

Moreover, FYP poster day juz ended ystd! So i am in a very goood and suitable mood for it now! The picnic days we had in Geneva and Bremgarten flooded my mind! oh man.. So I decided to rebuild that atmosphere today by wearing long sleeves and berms with loafer for a picnic at botanic gardens! (Gave plin n daron a shock when i entered their car.. ahahha)

1st Stop: Tanglin mall

Continuing the fine tradition of bringing 1kg halbweiSbrot for outings and picnics, I decided to get loaves from this atas Italian bakery! Spoilt for choices because all bread looooks amazingly delicious!!! but i made great ones with the purchase of Garlic Ciabatta and Rosemary Foccacia!

Hurray! The garlic one is especially yummy. Daron bought a liver sausage.. ahhaha! Trying to act atas tgt with me..

2nd Stop: Garden

Finally we reached our destination @ 11am! brite sunny days! How lovely! too bad gracie and rachel cant make it in the morning!

Notice I am the only yuppie-wannabe ard.. haha.. e rest are normal folks..

Went to where darren claim that the tree had a low hangin branch and look for a kewl spot! Well.. not exactly as I imagined.. Coz i was kinda fantasizing I cld lay down and read my mag.. But the mat was kinda small and everyone had to squeeze. The grass sux as usual, infested by ants so that it gave me creeps tinkin bout lying down.. Nevertheless, much positives to look forward to.. Introducing our very own!!!

There u have it! juices, Red wine, bread, ham, cheese, etc! yippe! Although i still prefer having a BBQ outdoor for picnic, I guess we will get into trouble soon enough when we try startin a fire in Botanic gardens.. haha..

Soon enough we are all making merry with guitar songs, red wine and trigger-happy pple! Yiling got a polariod cam! (Every shot cost her 1.20 sgd thou =X) ahhaha

Well.. We have to call it a dae due to rehersals and wad nt.. Sigh, wad a pity! the weather was just so excellent and I am into the mood! hope i get another chance like this soon enough! I gona make onigiri and drink sake for the next round! ahhahaha! Who's on for it!

Saw rachel in church today after God-knows-how long! Happi to see her!!

~ VIETNAMESE COOKING PROJECT ~

Viet class rox! although its kinda hectic n made my 2 day week into 3 days, I have no qualms with taking it so far! I have a wonderful teacher in Co Bich! Thank God I got her for most of my class, she's french nationality, so i can relate to the french part of her.. the spirit of slacking!!

Haha, met wonderful fwens as well.. we have a combi of pple alllll over NUS.. now presenting the 3 pokes that did the cooking proj with me!

From L: Me, Chloe, Xian Yi, Pui lien! haha, other dan me, the other 3 are 1st year noob students studying MATHS! goodness.. cant imagine pple studying MATHS..

We went to Co Bich house early in the morning but i was late for 30 mins due to stupid recovery program for my lappie! @_@ After reaching her condo, we were off busy like a bee to churn out salat for many many pple while Co Bich were goin ard with her SLR busy snapping shots..

Sad to say.. if the NEA were to do a check on our food preparation style like the coffee-shop style, we will prolly get a E or a F.. just check out wads happening..

UNAGI - CHAN

Sorry for the absolutely random title.. ahha.. Hols are finally here!! And thank God that He gave me rest from my FYP with a little twist.. I was supposed to hand in to MS an edited n improved ver of my report and I am toiling and hating it.. But, somehow, without telling me, he went to grade my LOUSY report (ok more like my draft) that i submitted for the sake of submitting, and heres his comment..

I read your FYP report. I think you did a very good job, both working out your results and analyzing the data.

This got me scratching my head as my mentor told me my draft sux and MS will jump upon reading it.. He told me MS said there were alot of spelling mistakes n typo but overall still good.. PA suggested 2 reasons..

1) MS is totally BS

2) GOD @ work

Well.. I strongly believe its the 2nd reason, coz MS is known to be very very meticulous and sometimes to the extent of fussy.. So thank God for the rest! But poster dae is up soon..

Viet classes have been good! But its difficult as well! I always become the centre of attraction in my classes due to my Viet level 4-quality of homework with Kami's help.. Oh man, I dun understand tt I still got "amazing" for my homwork even thou she only amended a few words the second rd..

Cooking project coming soon! And i am goin to make a chic salat!

Looks yummy rite, but i intend to invite the YA over to my hse on the pretense of a BS, and to instead use them as guinea pigs.. Muahhahaha.. =X

Got hooked onto a few food stuff lately... Esp tangyuan from Selegie beancurd and my self-made sandwich! I nv ate bread by pouring olive oil on it but this is really addictive!

I am trying very hard to master the guitar or at least a song during the hols.. Grr.. Its sooo diff thou.. But, I shall prove that my music potential are not 0 after all! haha..

A sweet summary..

Alot of things had happened here and there, been lazy to blog about them thou.. so I will just give a little summary of my past days..

Finally met with sok n shuyu for this sem after shuyu is back from harebin.. Although we went to a lousy restaraunt but who cares bout food, coz companionship is the best! =)

Got hooked onto old town's coffee recently.. not too ex and super nice.. albeit the small portion served.. My fave..

SCHOOL KICK OFF WITH A BANG!

1st day of school was kewl for me.. For my 1st lecture on marketing, its was a nostalgic feeling to be back into the arms of biz skewl yet again.. I miss the lectures and more imptly, the environment is definitely more aesthetically more pleasing to the eye than engin, if you know wad i mean.. hahah.. Zh was in the same lect as well, and I was hanging out with zn n ter..

Gem was so-so, was hangin out with adec n zn.. Adec made a laufin stock out of himself and had to resort to declaring that he is a NTU exchange student to save some face at e sci coop. hehe.. Lect was ok, my sixth sense told me e prof is a Xtian and there mb aves where i can ask him to help in my expelled seminar..

Moreover, I dun have to step into engin at all.. that sums up the great dae.. haha.. But alot of unknowns ahead.. pray that i can handle them as they come..

Have been tryin all channels to watch Ip man.. Saw the 1st 40min, great show, particularly i like this quote from ip man,

A NEW CHAPTER..

A new semester beckons! I think e laz semester has been one of most lovely time in skewl, albeit the fyp.. will be missing the time where i can just ring kami or cow out for lunch.. not forgettin late dinners at arts, steamboating with auntie plin n darren! *suddenly i rmb she still owes me a steamboat dinner* And of course! Lunch is the best with the SEP gang hangin ard and gossiping away! haha..

this sem, i goin to give vietnamese a shot after persuasion from PA and a promise of A by Bao ann.. hahaha, oh well, mb wad mari buddy said of me was true, i dare to be different from others.. hehe..

Recently met Alice at the old folks home, she has a nice personality and i can realli feel her passion! it has rubbed on me and i will be droppin by more often i hope.. She is an auntie btw if yer out there tinkin she is some pretty mei mei that is kind hearted.. hahaha.

Life is not a bed of roses, but I pray that God will sustain me to finish what I set off to do..

I HAVE MISSED THE POINT

I am a very active Christian, I even taught in my varisty Christian fellowship gp.. Xiao zhu was helping me to read the bible verses when i taught and the class was filled with lots of people.. Suddenly, a chinese student, a non-believer came by and asked what's all these all about..

I approached him with apprehension, its kinda hard to explain in chinese after all.. But i was pretty confident i can do it, so i told xiao zhu, "see how i share the gospel in Chinese".

we sat down and we started to talk about the place, we talked about my denomination, what does 浸信会 means, what is baptism, blah blah blah..

Suddenly I woke up.. I felt a deep sense of regret and sadness, it was all so real after all.. After talking for so long, i had missed the point, I forgot to tell the guy about the person, Jesus Christ..

It came as across my mind, crystal clear.. Aint this what I am struggling about?

After serving for 2 years plus, I always thought I had achieved something for the Lord, I thought I knew something about the bible that perhaps not many out there would know, I felt that I was doing my best to help the youths in my church, and certainly doing my best, to link up with the YAF as much as possible..

The dream had just proven all these wrong.. How silly I was, and how wrong I was.. Jesus came not for the righteous, but for the sinners.. I had always read this verse, yet I have failed to grasp the meaning of it.. I thought I was a light bearer for the Lord, yet I have always stayed in the lighted room, and neglected the people in the dark out there..

I had neglected my family, my non-believer friends n my beloved.. I just wanted to reach out and spread the gospel to them, yet how much time had I spent tgt with them? how much concern had I shown them? And how much I could have done for them which I didnt do?

Coupled with the studies stress, (I nv had real holidays till now) church activities, fellowship, pressure of finding a job, etc etc, I just wanted to give up and escape to somewhere where I can lay these all down.. Be myself for awhile.. I felt that sometimes I am forced to do what I am doing rather dan I wanting to do what i do..

I got tired of smiling, i want to be myself.. Yet when you are with people, you are forced to smile. If not, I would have pple telling me why i am pulling a long face, why am I in a bad mood, etc etc.. It just drives me crazy, cant i even decide what expression i shld put on? I got tired with mixing ard with these people.. let me be, will you?

I tink Father has his cool ways of telling me where I went wrong, and this time, He is telling me I am about to screw up my life big time.. I had missed the point, I werent there with the people I should be with when they needed me. But i am thankfully, He will be faithful, He will make things right..

YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE

Its been the lousiest new year day in my whole entire life, waking up at 10am and did FYP report all the way to 4.30am the next day, only to wake up at 7.30am. I downed 3 cups of coffee and battled on to keep my waning concentration from totally extinguishing.

Finally, thank God I was still in a pretty good conditions despite so little sleep. Went to school to discuss with Fan to realise how lousy my paper was, handed in anyway and went home.

Decided to make some onigiri for tomorrow's foto outing with YH as well as to relieve stress. But ended up, my blood almost boiled when the new rice i bought kept sticking to my hand and refuse to be rolled into a ball. I had a great lesson of learning how to be patient while facing those rice balls, I didnt even entertain the thought to further shape them into the traditional triangular shape, in fear they may just fall apart.

Felt an sense of achievement after creating these pokes..

Look at of my window and all i saw was dark grey clouds..

Sigh, I miss the vast blue skies.. When will I ever see them again?

How I hoped I had a son of this age now.. It be fun having activities with him and learning new stuff together..

Food Therapy

Well, you thought you may have stumbled onto the wrong blog! haha, me having food therapy?! dun worry ok.. I like cooking them, not eating them.. close acquaintances of mine will know i enjoy cooking and stuffing others with food.

Since I had a day to spend at home by myself, i thought of doing some cooking to lift up my spirit.. (more like i have 9 eggs expiring tmr!) haha, so went grocery shopping juz lik how it is in swiss.. I bought Salmon!!! ahha, always drooling when i see them at Aldi, but norway salmon in NTUC cost a mere 3 chf..

After giving my car a thorough wash n wax, dan set off to prepare n cook..

I was pretty sad.. My stupid pan sticks.. and my favorite salmon fish skin got stuck although i poured oil like stock (i swear by this!) sigh. it got ruined n chao ta.. Nevertheless, its was a day truly relaxing. time to face reality again! grrr..

Middle eastern dish i had long ago when dining with kami in biz.. quite nice!

I want to go on a hol to places like this again!!! Oh man!!! i miss norway..

~FEELing LEss~

Just reached home after sending miss J back to far far away. Bathed and waiting for hair to dry, so here i am bloggin and pinching my dad's canned asam mackerel.. Pretty yummy, lol..

It was a great ride although we didnt talk much.. I enjoyed just speeding down the road with not much cars of course and listening to music.. Kinda relaxing and we got to the other side of the world in a pretty fast timing.. Will be much better for the relaxing effect as well as the timing if God bless me with a convertible.. haha.. After a gruelling day of Fyp-ing till 9pm.. I needed just that.. If u have seen me anitime during that day, u be better off seeing a dead fish. Coz my face is somewhat lidat.. FEELING-LESS. ahhaha, or rather emotionless wld be more apt..

Yea.. u get the idea..

I wanted to pass this Christmas in a low key fashion, not that i dislike company but.. i am tired to keep smiling in front of pple.. If i dun, *the dead fish image pops up again* pple will tink I am unfwenly or having tons of probs.. Well, i just want to be myself sometimes.

Nevertheless, theres so much to look forward to.. Guess who sent me my 1st Xmas kard? Its ANGELA~ haha, so nice of her although shes so far away in Shanghai.. Btw she n heng hong are my bridge buddies back in Dubai airport daes.. haha.. Since then she has departed for NOC and i haven seen her since..

But she soooo thoughtful! kudos to her.. My 2nd card?

Tada! from my doc! hahah, he is a christian too and he goes for medical mission trip! one of these daes i goin to psycho him to bring me along.. well at least I am medic spec ok..

Auntie Jenny is just soo lovely! She bought me 2 boxes of Atas swiss biscuits coz she thought of me when she saw the swiss flag.. I wonder if anione will give me a Omega watch coz the swiss made watch reminds them of me.. hhahahah, ok joking..

God is good and He is doing something for me behind the scenes.. hahah.. Tts my Xmas present from Him although I already got 1 big one for eternity..

SLOWLY FADING..

Caught YES man with daron, plin, andreas n ash on thurs.. Mari n Zhenni fly me kite.. but as again, I am soooo fascinated by the show that the comedy effect sustained over till todae, lightening up my gloomy week.. Well I am back into gloomy days again..

Nevertheless.. I was mesmerized by the female lead in the show, zooey deschanel! She had such pretty eyes.. gosh.. I tink tts e prob with me, I cannot look into ger's eyes.. ahaha..

Well, i was also introduced to indie rock by daron n I have been tryin to accustom myself to it with nt much luck. ahhaa.. Btw zooey is in this band called She & Him!

Finally met up with 4A pple on Sat nite.. Its juz soooo nice to see mark, ak, geo, paul, adec, jen, mk, bud, hb again! With the exception of JJ, tts wad happen to guys with bf! well, heres the pics.

Lovely nite with them.. Just pray for all and esp for my sister who is weary..

SHOWDOWN

Finally I had a showdown with MS after he tried to avoid me for so long.. And all he did was to say "I am pretty busy lately.."

"Busy with what?" was MK's comment when i told him. Mk was commenting he doesnt seem like himself lately.. What a lousy guy.. Forget about him..

Got a tip off from PA and went to rummage through lib in church for Saltshaker but cant find it.. Instead, I helped myself to this interesting book called "Meet Yourself in the Parables".

Since I didnt really have a well structured quiet time and Someone is nudging me to start one soon as part of my requirement to lead a small group, i decided parables seem like a pretty kewl way to start the ball rolling. 1 parable per night..

Here's 1 that came to my mind after my 1st night..

Patient A heard the advice and took it. Although it meant discomfort and pain to his life, (He have to give up his fave food, his fave sports, his hobbies) and even major disruption to his present lifestyle, he was determined to go through it.

At the end, he recovered. Not only that, he became a stronger person mentally through his fight with his cancer. No longer was he indulging in senseless stuff in life, nor was he taking it for granted. He was living his life to the fullest, a purposeful and meaningful life. A beautiful transformation of a life..

Patient B however, doesnt want to go through all the pain that comes with the therapy. Moreover, the very thought of losing weight, becoming frail, losing hair and looking ugly was the very last thought in his mind. He knew very well the full consequences of rejecting the therapy and he stubbornly does so.. well, he died in a few months time.

However, at his death, his relatives came to the doctor and yelled, cried and wanting to sue him. His wrongdoing?

He was so cruel to let Patient B die without saving him even though he is able to.

A WALK TO REMEMBER

Had a wonderful time last nite.. Went for dinner with the pokes and Aunt irene, bought swedish coffee from Ikea (influence from Milen) and a coffee jug from Giants. Really lik the coffee! But found that the caffeine has lost its effect on me coz when i drank it laz nite as well as before my service, i was dozing off.. OOPS! hahaha..

Soccer was cancelled coz U.S.A is sick, wad a let down.. Nobody had ani program, so feeling extremely bored, I went home to watch the series titled..

"JUST A WALK ACROSS THE ROOM"

Its talk about taking the 1st step, go out of your comfort zone, walk across the room, reach out to someone, lend a listening ear, point the way, transform a life.. Well, after watching the 4 series @ a go.. it kinda blows my mind off.. Especially the part that the pastor said.

"Even beneath the value of evangelism is the value of love, radically accepting love. You will not go wrong, Heaven will never be disappointed , if the bottomline value is love"

when he said that, he was tearing.. I was thinking, how would someone tear because of that statement? It sounded lik just another statement that any pastor will preach.. Slowly when i watch, then i realised, at that moment, he was thinking of a close friend, a person that at 1 point of time, doesnt want ANYTHING to do with G-O-D. Until a time, when the pastor outpouring his real emotions told him..

"I cant imagine goin to eternity without you."

And that proved to be that knock on the door of the friend's heart that caused him to open up..

When God speaks to me, its not goin to be a fleeting thought, nor some kinda sudden inspiration, but its crystal clear and true..

Just yesterday i attended Aunt Annie's bro's wake.. Its always at a funeral that you can realli see emotions running wild. The bro's brother was crying like mad, with tears, saliva, gooey stuff dripping from the nose, everything.. But later on, A.I told me they actually never realli toked when the bro is alive and we all felt he cried so badly coz of the remorse and regrets welling up..

Bottomline: Love people, dun wait till its too late..

I taught in yf yesterday too, thank God for bringing hao yee's sis into our fellowship. And its no coincidence i taught on the topic of the real Christianity. But I was ignorant and did not understand fully whats the significance til now.. Its not all about wad you do to make u religious, at the core, its about a relationship, authentic faith with our Lord. And that entails 1 simple thing that Jesus acted out all the while..

Bottomline: Love people, they are more important than rules, laws, traditions, programs, wadeva!

This is one of the things I dislike everytime God speaks to me, it means He wants to teach me something, He wants me to change.. Self-reflections always brings with it countless mistakes that can be identified from past actions.

Conclusions: I always rigorously seek to establish something, some event, eagerly promoting certain plans, actively pushing for certain ideas, but at the bottomline, i may think its work for the kingdom, but do I love the people? Pastor said this during sermons every week, yet it all made sense todae..

"Even when I give my body to be burnt, yet I have no love, it profits me nothing."

Dear Lord, I have countless people around me that is still lost, there are plenty of people i want to turn around and say, "I cant imagine going to eternity without you." (Some of my best fwens came straight to my mind.) Just what am i doing for them?

As the video mentioned, as one starts his/her walk with the Lord, inevitably his/her life will start to center around Christian friends, the church, Christian music, Christian radio, Christian events, etc etc etc.. How true I thought, how much time am I spending with my relatives, with my clazmates, with my fwens who are non-Christians?

The pastor in the video also said this of his fwen who he grew up together, yet they were way apart in spiritual status..

" We started from identical background, from the same root. Whats different from between where I wound up and where he wound up is that, on my journey, I ran into GRACE, he never did. He only knew the judgemental side of the equation. I was fortunate enough but I was no better then him."

with this I thought of some of my friends, even my relatives and family.. How true.. I ran into Grace.. they haven't.. And I am no even a bit better than them to start with.

Well, when God speaks to me, He will make sure its Him thats speaking and I tink i caught this straight between my eyes.. I will learn, be more conscientius.. but nevertheless to all you people who happens to read this, I fail..

Exams are officially over with e end of my 'fave' paper intro to world religion this morning. *Sense my sarcasm* I get to see Debbie for the last time and although Julius is givin another mod on the methods to research on a religion, i dun tink i will go for it given a high chance debbie may be my tutor again..

Well, although exams are over, i stil got FYP.. sigh.. juz recd a mail from mark saeys that we are on the wrong track, oh my gosh! its lik less dan a mth n he sent me such a mail w/o any further advice.. !@$%!#@! Dear Lord, u muz help me..

SHADES OF MY LIFE

Recently I been following a routine of reaching home @ 6pm, starting preparing my own dinner and well, enjoy the drama @ 7pm. Just ystd, I switch on the tv @ 6.30 to realise they are telecasting Coffee prince again! I had never enjoy a drama as much as tt in my life really..

Things tt appeal to me? not only the comedy n the over-exaggerated romance between en can and han kyul.. But what attracts me is han xing.. His personalities, his passion, his habits, his everything.. seems to contain a shade of me, or rather what i picture myself to be..

Although he looks super shuai in formal wears, but he sticks to his comfy causal dressing most of the time, a tshirt and pants..(unlike han kyul) Pple who noes me will noe tt although i dress up on some occasions, but yer more likely to see me in tshirt or singlets with pants and slippers! Although he looks kinda mature, but he has his childish side, his stuborn side, as well as his egoistic side, and most importantly, his hard core romantic side. I tink tt is an eerily accurate assessment of myself..

I admit, I am stuborn, I am childish, throwing tantrum sometimes when tings dun go my way, but i have a soft side as well.. both of us smile alot too! but when we are down, its realli bad for us.. we wldnt wan anione ard and prefer to drown ourselves in it..

Have u ever notice in his house, there's 2 chairs and a small table facing a glass window pane all the way from ceiling to floor? Weird design eh? BUT NOT SO! haha.. When its raining, u sit there with another person, watch the rain out there, rain trickling down the window, sipping coffee, oh my gosh! tts life!

Also the 2nd floor of the house is a music room! specially for all kinda instruments! and when needed it can become a steam boat gathering cosy place! hahah..

I wish eh.. Pray hard for it.. lol.. But for now, i need to seriously mug.. I have lost all my vigor for muggin after swiss.. Sigh..

A BABY STEP!

After spending painstaking amount of time and effort browsing through commentaries, reading materials, talking to pastors, discussing with Jess.. FINALI! we had our very own bible studies for tonight!

" BOOK OF RUTH: BLESSINGS UPON A BROKEN LIFE"

With the help of Jess and Henry and alot others, and of course God Himself, the materials were drafted, printed and distributed. Although the 1st lessons only ended up with the 6 of us, nevertheless, we had taken the baby step out! Its our very 1st so as to say..

To prepare for the lesson, i kept my hp away, bycott msn, and pple were worried for me.. gosh sorry man, lol, at least i din get attacked by the white tigers.. haha.. Now the 1st lesson is over, realli thankful for those who came and those who supported me..

I wil give 60-70/100 for my 1st lesson, (unlik dear debbie, i am still reeling from the C+ she slapped me with..) If only pastor was there.. lol.. I tink time was tight, we din have much time to realli discuss more.. Although i tink the main message got through, there was much more room to explore the daily application of the themes we learnt in Ruth..

Nevertheless, it was realli quality time spent, i can always feel my ephedrine rushing everytime i teach, mb lik wad PA says, i got the gift for teaching.. lol.. Realli hope to start small gp for esther, kami, GG, etc more of my fwens out there..

BACK TO BASICS 2008

Even with exams n fyp looming round the corner, i took time for to plan BACK TO BASICS as an outing to celebrate the youths' end of exams as well as eileen "chua"'s bdae.. well too bad she was alr booked. Got this idea bcoz i wanted to go back to punggol end since 10 years ago and I love to be with nature! (Not ants thou) Reminds me of switzerland. well, i thought it will give the kids more exposure to things we do when we are young, outdoor BBQ, games etc.. (Sigh, i dun have such nice folks to do all these for me when i am young lo.. shld have joined church earlier!)

The dae started off well! I daron n plin reached ard 8+, we found a shady spot for pitching of tents and we went off to survey the ground for our 1st game!

F1 Ushering is !@$#^#$

Well, before I started on the job, i was looking forward to meeting new fwens, (pretty ladies esp..) havin a look at whats is it in functions of the higher social circles, and of course, havin free look @ the F1 race!! AT a low pay that even my mom deems it cheap labor, i dun feel justified working as an usher @ F1, its F1!!! goodness, multi-million spinning event and i am paid peanuts! How scrooge! When i recd my uniform e dae b4 e race on fri, i was disgusted to find out that its a brite orange tee with "USHER" printed behind.. OH my Gosh, n they wanted it back after e event!!! SCROOOOGE~

on the day, we reported @ 930 am n slacked alllll e way til 1pm.. I am nt complaining coz its slacking aniwae.. But lunch was terible la! The proportion was sooooo little that it hardly fills.. when i saw salad, i happily asked for it, n before i noe, it was at the expense of my rice.. this is e 1st time i encounter such lousy practices man.. (#@!$^!#@$!) Pay sux, welfare also dun have, wad kinda of organizers man..

@ 1pm we had to standby.. Literally STAND by.. stand whole dae la! Cant even interact n tok with eil who is same floor as me.. Lucky most of the pple i met are pretty nice, but stil got a few ruffians ard esp after they got drunk.. Lousy freaking attitude..

We were promised to be released @ 6pm, guess wad? lousy planning lead to no replacement.. HUH!?!?!? all they can say is "wait, we are looking for replacement", or "we are sendin pple for their break first" Well of course, helping out ur fellow pple is nv a problem for me..

When we finally get to go home, they din even offer us dinner can! even thou we work til freaking 2 hrs overtime n hungry n starving.. Of course there are pple who are worse off dan me n stil waiting for dinner but seriously the leaders plan lousily, n when pple help them out, they dun even appreciate by offering welfare.. WAds wrong with them man..

Grace is gone..

If a moral life suffice for salvation, why is there a need for God?

Hi everyone,

I would to share my thoughts on this topic in a simple layman manner. First of all, I think its important to recognize that Christians as mentioned in the lecture encompasses both of the Protestants as well as Catholics. However, there exists some significant doctrinal differences between the both.

With regards to soteriology, the catholics believe that both faith(believing in Jesus Christ) as well as works(penance) are keys to salvation, and more importantly, salvation can only be found within the Roman Catholic Church. Protestants on the other hand, believe that only by faith, that an individual will be saved. His/her salvation is not contingent upon his/her works as it is a gift of grace from God.

Now at this point of time, I would like to prompt everyone out there to think about this, if a moral life is(works) enough to ensure one's salvation, then why the need for Christianity? You can also be a buddhist, a hindu, a Muslim, a Jew and just be a righteous person throughout your life and tada.. You are invited into the big party up in heaven. Now here i define a moral life to be one that is blameless, at the end's of one life, no one is able to bring up an accusation against you.

From the Christian standpoint, sins are intrinsic within humans. Everyone has the tedency to do bad things when left on his own. *just imagine if all laws in singapore were to be abolished tomorrow, what havoc will happen* However, to be saved entails that you must be free of sins in order to live in the presence of God. Side track alittle, guys you may think God is unfair and start pointing fingers to adam and say "Why am i punished for what he did!"

But, just as through one man, the whole of human race is condemned, through another man(Jesus), the whole of human race MAY be saved!

Who can proudly stand out now and claim he has not committed ANY bad things in life before? Even if one, that makes you a sinner, just like how many murder must 1 commit to be a murderer. Therefore, no one can even achieve a moral life in his/her lifespan in the world today unless you can be like Abraham, Noah, Job that kinda people.

No one can be saved then!

Well if you are wondering about that, thats where faith comes into play! By TRULY repenting and believing Jesus died for your sins, you are whitewashed in a sense. You can be held as blameless infront of God! Now, imagine a notorious murderer who's been committing crime all his life, but at his deathbed, he truly regretted, repented and accepts Christ, he will be saved!

Now, does work have no bearings at all? what does truly repenting and believing entails? Its a common saying, "by its fruit you can know a tree". When you starting repenting and believing, you enter a lifelong process of santification, which is translated as layman term, setting apart from the world. By that, you will bear fruits of a Christian, love, patience, righteousness, long-suffering, etc.

Hope you have a better idea now!

PS: christians are not perfect people! We still sin in case you don't know!! But, by grace of God, we repent and seek forgiveness!

Seriously i am considering to refute the points a muslim student raised about Christianity.. I guess perhaps i should get together all the YAF-ers and post a 2000- words essay.. ahhaha..

CIRCUMCISION: CONTEST OF HUMAN RIGHTS? WHAT RIGHTS DOES A CHILD HAVE?

sorry guys, here i go again, ahahaha posting a lonnnnng essay of my forum postings. well i find it interesting so here goes.. the post with a little help n wisdom from U Gil and plastor A, time for you to put on yer tinking cap!

"Hi everyone, I would like to share my opinion on the issues that Constance has raised! Firstly, with regards to case revolving the circumcision of the 4 year old boy, many people would see it as a violation of the boy’s rights as a child. Now, we all keep discussing about human rights, children rights, but exactly what rights is a child entitled to?

As such, I would like to first define the rights of a child. In my opinion they fall into 3 main categories, right to provision, protection and participation. Clearly, the issue in question seems to have violated the second right on a first glance, a child’s right of protection from bodily harm, negligence, exploitation and discrimination. However, most people tend to forget that in most jurisdictions, or almost all jurisdictions, a minor do not have autonomy or the right to make decisions on their own for themselves. Instead such authority is being entrusted into hands of the adults, mainly their parents, guardians, etc. In summary, parents or guardians are allowed to make decisions in place of minors with their interests in mind.

The judge that overruled the performing of circumcision in the above mentioned case might have based that decision on the boy’s right to protection of bodily harm. Now stop for awhile and analyze the situation, what if I proposed up a similar analogy, should pregnant mothers or mothers who breastfeed their babies be banned from smoking? Or even count it as illegal as well as a criminal offense as it does bodily harm to the fetus or the newborn as proven by scientific report? Well, as most of us would know, no! Another point that staunch opponents of circumcision like to point out is that the child may grow up feeling mutilated and impairment of certain bodily functions. Again, there are cases that were scientifically proven that a mother’s diet during pregnancy may significantly affect the health of the child when it grows up, with extreme cases being deformities, diseases or even death. Yet again, were there laws passed to govern a mother’s diet during pregnancy? If the above mentioned cases does not constitute an offense in the eyes of the law, so why is circumcision being treated so differently then?

Now this sheds an entirely new light on the matter of controversy. What and who determines circumcision is detrimental to a child? For every article you can find that propagates a disadvantage of circumcision, I am pretty confident I can find another that speaks about the advantage of circumcision.

Some may raised up the issue of the traumatic experience of the 8 days old baby as a justification, but as someone has mentioned earlier in the forum, certainly immunization is traumatic as well, yet seen as a “ritual” that most newborns go through and most parents would opt for their children to be immunized as its in their best interest to do so. Other arguments entail that a child should be entitled to religious freedom and not being forced into a religion by their parents as many see happening in Judaism, Islam or even Christianity. Now, a quick look into statistics certainly reveals that a large proportion of the Jews in Israel are secular Jews, that may perhaps be true too in other countries where circumcision is practiced for religious reasons. So it goes to show that circumcision does not really stripped a child’s right to religious freedom when he/she grows up.

Lastly, the strongest argument may be that circumcisions are irreversible, so after the child grows up, it may affect him/her emotionally in a negative manner. Now, I urge you all out there to rethink again. Who is in the best position to take the decision at the time of birth of the child? In my opinion, I strongly believe its none other than the parents or guardians themselves. To adequately address this issue, the religious context as well as the non-religious context must be discussed. I will just discuss the religious context as an example. Lets take for example in a Jewish setting where circumcision is seen a normal passage of rite for the newborn as well as a pride for the Jews and if the parents decide against circumcision, as a child, wouldn’t the boy face discrimination as well? Wouldn’t him feel alienated because he is so different from the other kids? Wouldn’t him feel emotionally affected as well? Well, certainly food for thought."

FAMILY!!!!

After much procrastination, finally met up with the 4A pple!!! hahah. well although tings aint realli exciting, we were juz chatting bout each other lives, r/s, future family ideas, etc.. MY first post...

My world religion mod requires me to post a weekly discussion on the forum, I was pretty clueless about wad to write until i read n got inspired by Jesssssss by chance..

Hi all!

Just to share my view on world religions. I would agree with shi han! Apart from those characteristics of a world religion as mentioned in the notes, (transcendence beyond geographic boundaries, languages, races, number of adherence, etc) 1 of the most important attributes that qualifies a religion as a world religion itself is the presence of a specific set of moral guidelines and principles that impacts the life of its believers.

This immediately puts football out of the picture. Do FIFA rules teach an individual the correct response when faced with a moral dilemma? (Whether to cheat in an exam? Whether it is alright to have pre-marital sex? etc..)

Christianity has its bible as a guide on the Christians' daily living, the Muslims have their Qur'an, the Jews have their Torah and even Confucianism has laws on how an individual should behave in a society. However, as Dennis mentioned, laws and moral perspectives change over time, what may be abominable in the past may have become acceptable in the near future (the question of homosexuality for some religions). So, against whose standards should we judge whether the moral guidelines are indeed moral and applicable in this era? The world's? Or you and i? Even atheist like to argue that even without a God, they can have a moral life.

As such i would question Dennis' stand on what the Israelites did was murder, as people on the other side of the fence would certainly see it as just killing. What constitutes a murder then? For the US-led invasion of Iraq, was it carried out with a murderous intention, or justified in the name of anti-terrorism and common good of all? Who is to judge?

Certainly food for thought, as morality itself warrants a whole new discussion on its own, but yet, a crucial factor in qualification of a world religion. But in my honest opinion (this may be controversial), my views concur with Dennis’, men are never born with morals and we are able to discern because we inherit it from a higher being, so to say we evolve from apes is a little far-fetched for me. So for the atheist it’s just a mere refusal to believe in a higher being even though they are conscientious of moral values. As for what standards should we judge whether a religion's moral guideline is indeed moral, there's indeed no simple answer.

Lastly, another important factor in shaping of a world religion is sadly, its political influence. This is best seen perhaps in the history of Christianity, how Constantine unites the then pagan Rome under the name of Christianity as it was fast gaining popularity and importance in that era. How the Popes of the Roman Catholic church in the past wielded a tremendous influence on politics and dabbled in country affairs. All these have been important catalyst for the wide-spread of Christianity in Europe in history.

An Uneventful Dae

school has finalli started much to my disappointment. i wasnt prepared for it yet.. I nida get my life on track 1st i guess..

I felt a separation, not by e doings of others, but by me myself.. How much longer will it lasts.. I am desperate.. Yet.. I keep failing.. sigh.. sometimes i hope You will punch me to wake me up.. *nt too hard thou.. hahaha..*

I felt my life was chaotic.. Seriously i nid to put everyting into order.. Slowly.. but surely..

I felt lost.. Oh darn, i absolutely have no idea where my fyp wil end up.. Sometimes i wld juz curse myself for being too enthusiastic to learn more.. Y cant i slip back into e comfort of a familiar place n juz scrap my way thru..

I felt confused.. I dun like to keep guessing this n that.. N sadly, it will be taken by others as nonchalant, uncaring, wadeva..

Wen for my 1st class on world religion todae.. I felt abit odd coz i chose to wear the Immanuel shirt i recd for bdae.. "GOd with us" Well.. nt tt i wanted to hide the fact tt i was a christian.. But of course.. I dun wan to walk in on the 1st dae appearing eager to strike down all other faiths as myths on behalf of christians.. oh man.. was hoping the LT gets cold asap dan i can wear my sweater on..

But u may tink its juz a norm shirt.. Y i even bother.. but unknown to many wearing this means representing Christ n with it.. U better be on ur 100% best behavior! Givin up seats to pple.. be polite.. etc etc.. Although it may sound lik putting a facade in e eyes of others.. I prefer to tink as it as training to act lik a Christian.. Its nt easy imo, fyi..

My lecturer is a bautista guy.. He toks with an accent n i love it! hahaha.. After time in swiss.. I kinda find the local way of tokin alittle crude.. accent stil sounds nicer! Mod looks tough.. hope i wil survive..

忘年之交

好久没用华语 blog 了，回到了新加坡，一切又回到了以往有规律的生活。

时不时，在瑞士的情景会浮现在脑海里。可惜，一切都变了。身边的朋友不一样了，生活节奏也换了，能在大自里无优无虑地散步的机会也消失了。深刻的回忆也随着时间的流失，渐渐的淡掉了。

那.. 努力的从逆流里拉回来，想一生都挽留着的.. 又会是什么？

心里也有了答案，忘年之交吧..

DAE 1, 11th June:

Upon reachin basel airport, they do not allow me board as my camera stand is prohibited, asked me to check in my backpack.. since its fwee i did that. Upon reachin valencia, they said they have lost my backpack.. my heart sank immediately..

I was left with the clothes i was wearing, 200 euro, a camera, my bible,laptop and my hp, eurail passes.

they juz chucked a loss report and shoo me away.. thank God theres munnie on me n eurail, i manage to get to barcelona for roof under my head. Met sook ee n shu yu there, they were comforting after the dae..

DAE 2, 12th June:
Wen out with shuyu n sook ee. toured ard although i dun have the mood. they cheered me up thou..

Rang the ryanair staff, told me tmr my baggage shld arrive as the plane from basel will come again tmr..

Bought a single shirt to wear n change, with same underwear n jeans n nutin more..

DAE 3, 13th June: Shu yu n sook ee leavin tonite..

Its a crucial dae. however when i rang up ryanair, they say no.. they cant find.. Its a big blow to me.. this had totally screw up my travel schedule alr.. i was supposed to go france tonite.

Nvm.. esther n sin cheow came by n at least i got them to friend-hop to..

DAE 4, 14th June:

WAnted to go home in zurich todae, sick n tired of spain.. Wanted to go back take some clothes n cont my journey in france. BUT, HEART-broken, no nite train.. Booked a flight to basel the nx morning..

GUESS WAD? i am pitiful enough aint it? A guy preyed on me and robbed or stole my camera bag.. together went my passport, eurail passes n my fave camera. I was at the brink of devastation.. immediately contacted dear n plastor.. they were my pillar of support..

I forgive tt guy.. but i dun understand why DAD still has to allow this to happen to me as if i had not fallen deep enough..

POSSESION: a laptop, clothes on me, an xtra shirt, less dan 100 euro left, my bible still.. seriously how more pitiful can i get..

DAE 5, 15th June:
A ray of hope shone through, my luggage was recovered and i wen to valencia to recover, n sadly saw my flight n 50 euro get wasted. I felt like a dumbass and an unfillal son to waste my parents' $ lidat.

Plin helped me liased with the embassy n i had to travel to barcelona again the nx morning to get my passport done n dan i can freaking get out.. I even planned to take a 120 euro flight once i settle my passport in the morning.

BUT.. time and again.. another blow, no train to barcelona until late afternoon 130pm.. WAD KIND OF LUCK I HAVE.. if tt exists.. in e end i am forced to stay over at the bus station to take a bus there early in the mornin.

DAE 6, 16th June:
Upon reaching the barcelona, i wen quickly to embassy in hope to be the 1st and settled the stuff once n for all n fly back to bernard n weiguang.

THIS HAS TO HAPPEN AGAIN!!!!!! the security told me its only opened from 4 to 7pm. I wonder how more bad things i have waiting for me ahead.. The whole plan is again thrown out of the window.. n now i am totally at a loss of wad to do..

But Lord, if its Your will, let it be..

Thanks pple for your prayer and concerns.. slowly but surely.. i will climb out to be a stronger person.. I felt wads it like to be almost yi wu suo you.. to lose everyting i have.. but yet.. thank God my fwens didnt let it happen.. They were my solace..

Well.. The Lord is always faithful.. Its has been so laz sem, its been so now.. it will be so in the future.. On the eve of my hardest exam, I chose to go for Bible studies classes instead of coopin in my rm to study.. Just like how i prepared for the Xmas in the park during laz sem's exam.. Although i been disobedient, but He has nv failed me..

I got 4.25 for my katalyse module over 6.. 4 is the passing grade. My fwens, 1 passed by a dangerous 4, e other 2 failed.. Although i know I know i din study as much as them, but really praise the Lord for it..

Everytime i flip my bible i will see wad Plin wrote for me laz sem durin my hardest period.. N it renew my str everytime.. =)

INTERESTING DAE IN CLASS

Todae had a real time of my life.. Enterin a catalysis class and for 2 hrs, i can hard understand even 50% of the class.. its lik the prof is tokin in greek, hebrew and the names of the compounds are in latin.. (@_@)

After the end of the lect, we approached the prof and asked him about the exams format.. After explanin to us and reassurin us tt he knows we are from a different backgd.. He had to rub salt into the wound..

Wad a letdown! everyone was sooo lookin forward to rent a car n go for picnic at interlaken n lucern.. But alas.. God @ work.. We din get to rent coz i dun have credit card.. oh well.. mb it wasnt meant to be.. So we wen back n devised a laz min plan to visit uetliberg and bremgarten!

GENEVA

Took me a real loooong time to blog tis entry, but nonetheless, it was too fun to be mized out.. It was realli one of the most fun trip I had in swiss.. No wonder esther who wen to geneva for the 2nd time remarked how different it was with different company..

A brite sunnie dae, a bunch of fwens (me, bern, gg, kami, esther, anni) and a nice blue lake!(Lake geneva) Wad more can we ask for? Originally wanted to go there to meet a fwen of esther, but the plan failed coz tt ah ma seems to be anti-esther and din pick up her call.. but aniwae it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it was much more fun on our own..

Rite from the start of the journey.. we had "choc buffet" on board the train tt consists of strawberry, honeydew with nutella dip!

AFter 3 hr of train ride, we finally reached geneva! After restockin at e nearest Migros, we were baskin in the comfortable daelite and watchin locals stroll in the flea mkt..

Any part of the city wld look nice with the mt background! I brought along my tripod so we had chances to take tons of gp pics! We decided to pay a visit to the local university and soon, we found ourselves in this lush park with greener leaves dan Zurich!

After takin pics n more pics, we decided to visit a place esther claimed to have a paranomic view, which turns out to be.. well, a mere mound.. hahah, but e view was great and our childhood was stirred up by the playgd there!

After lazin ard n playin, we decided to head to the famous geneva fountain for lunch!

Stopped along the way, anni was bz feedin the swans with her 1kg bread! ahhaha.. BEt gg muz be droolin when he saw the bread..

AFter finishing with fototakin.. we decided to juz picnic at the nearby grass patch.. there werent anione on it yet.. we are the 1st gungho pple to sit down n even lie down after the morning rain..

It din take us much long to start comin up with wacky ideas again.. haha.. as usual..

AFter we took countless shots tt failed.. decided to get help from a guy.. hahah.. Wen to take pics with the fanmous clock too!

Nx up.. to the UN headquarters! It prolly sux and wasted our $$, nt realli excitin but. well.. UN mah..

After our trip ended.. we decided to make our $$ worth by takin alot of pics with the UN sign, with the security eyeing us closely.. as if we care.. we paid 12francs ok!

After the UN trip, there wasnt much time left til 7pm, so we decided to head to e botanical garten for a rest n teatime!

AFter the sun starts to set.. back home we go.. on the way back.. the sceneries was simply stunnin.. a full moon on top of a lake.. too bad my cam ran out of batt n esther cam sux.. SIGH~~~ wasted totally..

SECHSELAUTEN

Realli bz these few wks, learning to cook, studies, travels and BSF, etc.. so sorry if i had neglected anyone! but heres something outdated! the festival of sechselauten! its only a festival in zurich where a snowman called Boog, symbolizing winter will be burnt. Time taken for the cracker in its head to blow was recorded, the longer it is, the shorter our summer!!!! N boy it took 26min tis time.. one of the longest in history (urgh..) Forgettin bout the spirit-dampener, lets see some of the parades they had b4 the burnin!! enjoy!

++ BERN and BASEL ++

Originally was headed for geneva.. but the ah ma which GG & esther wanted to meet was occupied for the dae.. so esther decided to accompany her fwen to Locarno while e guys, me, GG n bern decided to visit.. well.. Bern.. haha.. N we will meet in basel at 5pm to shop..

Early in the mornin while i was lazin in bed, i recd a msg from esther, sayin tt she had boarded the wrong train and ended up in some ulu place.. Felt bad for her coz its a lousy feelin to screw up rite at the start of the dae.. Met the guys at ETH to print out the tix but to our horrors, it was sold out.. Instead we had to buy tix which costs us 9 chf more.. N luckily i was Susumu katayama for the dae which i enjoyed halbtax n gleis 7! ahahha.. boarded e train n off to bern!

although we r on a hol trip.. Muggers stil sighted onboard!!

In an hr time, we reached bern! pretty fast coz i was used to takin trains tt take ages to travel.. (record is 12hrs to berlin) got off, got the map and off we go to the City of BEAR~ But the 1st ting we saw was nt bear, but..

The town was nice, got an old town feeling but it was rainin! sigh.. tink my poor meaniemachine is goin to be kaputt soon.. keep soakin in the rain.. 1st stop! the 2 colour river as seen from kirchefeldbrueke!

As wetter ist schlecht.. both the river look green.. zzz.

Off to nx stop! einstein hse! It was supposed to be the place he stayed in with his family and where he developed the Relativity theory. We were hesitating whether to go in anot since it costs munnie but since theres slight discount for us, we went in aniwae..

Esther called us to cfm the meeting in basel in the midst of our Einstein video and since we had 5hrs more.. We decided to do tings leisurely.. haha.. Nachste halt.. BEar pit!! E famous bears tt everyone who is been to bern certainly takeS! So should we!

When we reached n saw this, we were dismayed.. coz rain may have drove the bears inside n we wasted our tip again! but luckily!!! they were out! even if there were oni 2, better dan nutin rite..

they were so lazy and spoilt and pampered tt they juz sat there waitin for people to feed em.. even if the food landed few cm from them, they will be too lazy to move over to them!! growin fat like me.. sit n wait for food.. ahahha

Nx, we decided to go to the Rosengarten where sakura blossoms were promised! wad a scene to behold!! Eagerly anticipated! and this is wad we got..

Juz after we finished,we were caught by the assistant and asked to leave.. so malu.. but we pretended to say tt we thought it was public area.. aniwae.. sceneries were much better on the downhill side..

we wanted to watch the clockwork recommended by wikitravel in bern, so we hafta wait for every start of the hr.. Had time so we scouted ard the shops.. Wen into a swiss army knife shop! saw a design tt i liked so much n was unique! But it costs 69 chf.. which is ard 90 sgd.. so ex!!!!! n after pinchin myself.. i wen ahead to burst my purse for once.. BUT! miracles happen... dont they.. ahhaah.. Thank God.. mb the salesger was too stunned by me.. she charged me only 46 for tt knife!!! YIPPPPPEEEE~~~ saved 30 sgd!!! hahahahaha.. so hapi! n the knife was so gud! (tried n tested..I was bleedin profusely for a few min when i accidentally cut myself when exploring.. hahaha) Finally caught the clock work after tt.. juz lik a cuckoo clock!

Cursin wikitravel yet again for a wrong tipoff, we set off to Basel to meet our dear esther who is so desperate to see us after a dae gone wrong.. Finally met her there n everyting felt so nice! lik meetin an old fwen! hahaha.. Once again psychoed by wikitravel, we set off in search of basler leckerli.. a supposedly local special gingerbiscuit tt doesnt contain ginger.. lol.. sounds ridiculous but we found it in e end.. there was cheaper version in Migros, so i got a 1kg pack for 11 sgd.. but luckily it was a better tipoff dan the clock.. taste nice!

We started to walk towards st alban tor in search of the little venice shown in the local brochure.. pics on the way!

I juz cun help to be amazed at hows pictures can do the real place injustice sometimes.. n in our case a neg sense..

looks nice? wait til i zoom out and it wil look lik a long kang to u.. ahhaha but nt to spoil e place ya..

After our venice trip.. we felt dejected n decided to go for shoppin instead, as a tip-off from anni says tt its nice n cheap to shop.. on e way, barged into a church tt has no one but it has such nice innercourt tt we decided to take some pics!

++ TRIP TO LOCARNO, LUGANO ++

AFter 2 daes of rest.. here we go again.. This time rd to Locarno n Lugano, italian speakin part of the schweiz.. Tim, esther n yushan n co. wen laz time when we were away and they convinced us how great tt place is.. so there we go..

DAELIGHT SAVING

fault.. the clock had been tuned 1 hr later in all swiss, n no tv, cun read german papers led us to end up in hot soup.. but luckily there was stil a train to lugano.. it was a italian train n it was much much better dan SBB trains..

It was kinda ironic when we travel to germany tellin pple we are interested in sceneries.. Boy, we shld have juz stayed in swiss.. The train ride alone proved to be breath-takin, there isnt time to sleep!! look below n u noe y..

upon reaching lugano.. we headed str to Mt Bre, where the view was said to be incredible.. But the weather was pretty schlect.. Fogggy.. Cun see.... SIGH~~~

After agreein our trip was futile.. We went to walk ard lake lugano.. So much prettier!

On towards locarno! Locarno was nutin much.. the lake wasnt better dan the Lugano lake.. So we went up to the famous church.. Madonna Del Sasso.. Which was supposed to overlook the lake.. theres actualli some place further up the mountain but it cost a bomb to take cable car up.. so we jus settled for tt..

Sorry no sceneries shot.. all got me.. ahhahaha..

Thats all for the dae!!! A decent trip for a 42 chf dae tix! =)
